  • Although the sand is easy to wipe off, expect to get a bit sandy and dusty (depending on your type of play). Comfortable clothing that you are willing to get a bit dirty is recommended.

  • We have many toys, from sand tools to construction trucks, sit on diggers, market stand, slide, and much more! Your imagination won't be limited by the available toys. However, we ask that no outside toys be brought into the garden to avoid being lost, dirty, or broken.

Cleaning

  • Our high-quality play sand is much safer and cleaner than sand on a beach. It is 100% safe play sand, containing no quartz, asbestos, wheat, or nuts. Our sand comes from SandTastik, a 25-year provider in eastern Canada that offers the cleanest, softest sand around.

  • We rake and sift the sand daily to catch loose items and help with settling, keeping the sand soft for playing. We regularly wet the sand to help with dust particles and spray with a water/vinegar-based solution to keep bacteria and oder at bay.

  • Toys and areas outside of the garden are cleaned and sanitized daily to ensure the safest and cleanest environment possible. If there is an accident or you notice any areas of concern, please let a staff member know as soon as possible.

  • Slightly wetting the sand daily helps maintain dust particles. We also run air purifiers to capture dust throughout the day and keep the air as clean as possible. Keeping the air perfectly dust-free is nearly impossible, but we do our best to provide a well-maintained environment.
